Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Bike Park

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, his wife, chairperson of the Baku 2015 First European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva and his daughter Arzu Aliyeva have attended the opening of the Bike Park.

The head of state and his wife first viewed the general plan of the Bike Park.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed about the work carried out here. The Bike Park occupies a total area of 30 hectares. The BMX bike park was also constructed in the area of the Park. A platform for competition with obstacles was also built here. Created conditions fully meet the standards of the International Cycling Union. 1197 seats for spectators were created here. There are special places for VIPs, athletes, disabled spectators, and media representatives. The two-storey office building, which was built in the territory of the Bike Park, has a registration center, rooms for the analysis of doping, a 25-seat conference hall, and other auxiliary rooms.

The head of state then met with members of the Synergy Baku Cycling Project team.
