President Ilham Aliyev met with Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, Michael Spindelegger, in Davos.

Successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Austria was noted at the meeting. It was mentioned that the cooperation between the two countries are on a good level and the fruitful activities of Austrian companies in various spheres in Azerbaijan prove this. At the meeting, where energy cooperation between Austria and Azerbaijan were praised as successful, the cooperation of OMV Company with Azerbaijan in the energy sphere was characterized as effective.

Prospects for development of relations between the two states were discussed at the meeting.
