President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev, who is in Baku to attend the 3rd Global Baku Forum organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center.
The head of state stressed the importance of Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev`s participation in the 3rd Global Baku Forum.
Noting that strong partnership was established between the two countries, President Ilham Aliyev recalled with pleasure his visit to Bulgaria and the document on strategic partnership signed during the visit.
Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev said he was very interested in the 3rd Global Baku Forum organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center. Rosen Plevneliev hailed the role of bilateral ties between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, and mutual agreements and understanding in expanding regional cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views over prospects for bilateral ties between the two countries and a number of other issues.
