President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Rector of I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University Petr Glybochko.
Petr Glybochko said he was deeply impressed with the ongoing great development processes in Azerbaijan. He touched upon the cooperation with relevant Azerbaijani bodies, saying a lot of Azerbaijanis successfully studied at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.
President Ilham Aliyev said the government of Azerbaijan attached great attention to education, adding this sector was one of the main priorities of the country`s development. The President said large-scale work was carried out in the country to ensure comprehensive development of the youth, including the training of highly-skilled medical specialists.
The parties expressed confidence that cooperation between I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University and relevant bodies in Azerbaijan would expand.
