Ilham Aliyev checked out the progress of reconstruction works in the Baku Boulevard

President Ilham Aliyev checked out the progress of reconstruction works, carried out in the area of shipbuilding plant, within the framework of Baku Boulevard’s extension.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev presided over a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on January 14, dedicated to the outcomes of social-economic development of 2010, where he gave instructions to connect the Baku Boulevard with the State Flag Square, as part of the impending tasks. In order to fully carry out the instructions, given by the President of Azerbaijan, it was necessary to relocate a number of facilities and buildings in and around the Baku Bay, including the shipbuilding plant of the Caspian Fleet and other industrial objects.

Having closely examined the effective works carried out, the President also enquired about the progress made in deconstructed part of the shipbuilding yard and gave relevant instructions and suggestions.
