Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the “Alyans Tekstil” sewing factory in Sumgayit

President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the “Alyans Tekstil” sewing factory in the city of Sumgayit.

Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev informed President Ilham Aliyev that the factory, which was constructed under the state programs on socio-economic development of regions, occupies an area of 2.4 hectares. The total cost of the factory amounts to AZN 6.1 mln. AZN 1 mln preferential loan was allocated for the construction of the facility by the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support. President Ilham Aliyev was also told of the preferential loans, which were allocated to the city of Sumgayit.

President Ilham Aliyev launched the “Alyans Tekstil” sewing factory.

It was informed that the facility consists of two main production and four subsidiary areas.

The head of state watched the production process in the factory, which was supplied with the state-of-the-art equipment made by the world`s leading companies. The factory is capable of producing 100,000 sets of uniforms per year.

The head of state viewed the samples of products. The factory employs nearly 200 workers. All conditions have been created here for workers.

President Ilham Aliyev met the factory`s staff.
