Ilham Aliyev joined the flower festival celebrations in the capital

A magnificent flower festival was organized in the park in front of the Heydar Aliyev Palace to mark the 87th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva joined the celebrations.

The President was told that hundreds of Baku residents had been visiting the park since early hours to enjoy the show organized by Baku Executive Power and featuring millions of flowers brought from different parts of the world.

The President and his spouse visited the monument to the national leader and toured the park adorned by flowers.

The President and the first lady posed for photographs in front of a big flower-made portrait of the national leader.
