Chief Executive Officer of BBC Global News Jim Egan informed President Ilham Aliyev about the activities of the company and its work in the field of international cooperation. He stressed the importance of delivering comprehensive information about the history, cultural development of Azerbaijan and ongoing development processes in the country to a wider audience.
President Ilham Aliyev spoke of Azerbaijan`s economic achievements after the independence, its cooperation with the European Union, the country’s achievements in the field of energy, and the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. President Ilham Aliyev noted the importance of spreading objective and unbiased information about the rich history, culture, development processes of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the issues related to cooperation prospects.
