President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a stadium in Masazir District, Absheron.
The head of state was informed that the stadium was built in line with international standards. The 13,000-seat stadium has a press centre, rooms for coaches, medical and doping control rooms.
This confirms that the construction of Olympic sports centres and other sports facilities paves the way for holding international events not only in Baku, but also in the country`s districts.
