President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reviewed schools No. 32 and No. 12 in Nizami District of Baku.
Continuous work is successfully carried out to reconstruct educational facilities and build new schools and kindergartens under a plan of action featured in the special State Program on the socioeconomic development of Baku and its settlements.
Secondary schools are revamped to the highest standards and supplied with necessary equipment, landscaping work is carried out and new green areas created on the territory of educational facilities in the capital, adjacent settlements and all parts of the country. Important work is also being done to strengthen material and technical infrastructure of schools.
President Ilham Aliyev first reviewed secondary school No. 32 after major repair and reconstruction. Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov informed the head of state about the work done. It was noted that there were 1,050 pupils in the four-storey school. All classrooms and departments of the school were repaired in line with modern standards, provided with necessary equipment and teaching aids ahead of the new academic year. Heating and lighting systems were reconstructed in line with the highest standards too. A 640-seat additional block will be built next year. The head of state reviewed the classrooms of the school.

The head of state was informed of the repair and reconstruction work here. It was said that the school was built in 1974 on the initiative of national leader Heydar Aliyev, who also participated in its opening.
There are 43 classrooms in the four-storey school. Some 1,200 pupils are studying at the school. An additional 240-seat block will be built here for the next academic year. All classrooms and departments were repaired in line with modern standards and state-of-the-art heating and lighting systems installed here.
