I offer my hearty congratulations to you on the occasion of your election as President of the European Commission.
The Republic of Azerbaijan attaches special importance to overall development of relations with the European Union.

From this point of view, the expansion of our cooperation with the European Union day by day, our achievements are satisfactory.

Our relations, which have big potential in political, economic, cultural and other areas, are successfully developing. Our successful and continuous cooperation in the energy sphere, which is considered one of the key priorities in our relations with the European Union, proves that Azerbaijan is a reliable partner in ensuring Europe`s energy security.

I believe that we will make joint efforts to successfully continue our partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation built on sound foundations, confidence and support.
