İlham Aliyev had a meeting with Foreign Affairs Minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Affairs Minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd, had a meeting in Astana.

Kevin Rudd said his country was interested in development of cooperation with Azerbaijan both bilaterally and on security, environment and global issues. He talked about the Azerbaijani community in Australia.

President Ilham Ailyev said that Azerbaijan can develop its cooperation with Australia. Touching upon Azerbaijan’s recent development in many fields, the President added that every opportunity exists for activities of Australian companies in Azerbaijan.

Resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was also discussed at the meeting. President Ilham Aliyev described Azerbaijan’s position regarding the resolution of the conflict.
