Ilham Aliyev met with Prince Albert II of Monaco

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with Prince of Monaco Albert II, who is paying a visit to our country.

Indicating that this was his first visit to Azerbaijan, Prince Albert II recalled with satisfaction his meetings with President Ilham Aliyev at different times. Noting the importance of the upcoming first European games due to be held in Azerbaijan in 2015, the Prince of Monaco expressed his confidence that this major sporting event would be organized successfully.

The head of state noted that the visit of Prince Albert II of Monaco to our country was a good opportunity for close familiarization with Azerbaijan. Touching upon the first European games in 2015, President Ilham Aliyev noted that although there was not much time left time, preparations for this event were well under way.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the development of bilateral relations in various fields.
