Face to face meeting of Ilham Aliyev and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Following the official welcoming ceremony, face to face meeting of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran took place.
The successful development of bilateral relations between our countries in various fields was stressed at the meeting. Touching upon the importance of high level visits, it was stressed that the official visit of Iranian President to Azerbaijan will contribute also to the development of ties between our countries.
Presidents stressed their confidence over further development of bilateral ties. During the meeting, views were exchanged on bilateral and international issues.
