President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani met in Davos.
It was emphasized at the meeting that the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran are united by common historical and cultural roots and it was noted that there are broad opportunities for the further development of neighbourly and friendly relations between our countries and peoples. It was said confidently that cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of politics, the economy, energy and culture, among others, will continue to expand.
During the conversation it was stated confidently that both parties will step up efforts to further deepen bilateral relations between our countries, as well as regional cooperation. Opinions were exchanged on determining the specific directions for the further expansion of relations in the future.
