Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev has received the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the country, Tsuguo Takahashi.

Ambassador Tsuguo Takahashi passed in front of the Guard of Honour.

Tsuguo Takahashi presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then, President Ilham Aliyev spoke with the ambassador.

The head of state noted that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Japan are successfully developing in various fields. Expressing the hope that cooperation will also develop dynamically during the diplomatic activity of Ambassador Tsuguo Takahashi in Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev wished him success.

Stressing that last year marked the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Japan, Ambassador Tsuguo Takahashi said that bilateral relations between our countries are developing dynamically in different fields, including in the political, economic, humanitarian and other fields. The diplomat noted that rapid development processes taking place in Azerbaijan made a deep impression on him.
