After the official welcoming ceremony, President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko had a one-on-one meeting.
The meeting expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus in the political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres. It was noted that there are good opportunities for developing our relations in various spheres. The sides expressed confidence that the Belarusian president’s visit to Azerbaijan will serve to strengthen bilateral relations even more.
At the meeting, the sides also held a detailed exchange of opinions on other issues of bilateral and mutual interest.
