President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a new office building of the Siyazan district branch of the “Yeni Azerbaijan Party”.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the new office building.
President Ilham Aliyev then reviewed the building.
It was noted that the construction of the office building had begun in January and was completed in July 2013.
The total floor area of the two-storey building is 753 square meters.
In the lobby of the building there is a bas-relief of great leader Heydar Aliyev. There are also photo stands reflecting the activities of the nationwide leader in public and political life of the country, including those related to the YAP. On display in the building are historical documents and artifacts. There are suitable conditions for conducting various activities in the building. All the offices are fitted with the necessary equipment, computers and a library.
It was indicated that the Siyazan district branch of the YAP was established on 10 February 1995. The organization, which includes 42 grassroots organizations, has more than 3,240 members. Of these, 32 per cent are women and 28 per cent youth. The new building has all the conditions for productive work of the organization. The courtyard is fully landscaped, has many trees and a modern lighting system.
The head of state expressed his satisfaction with the work done.
