An official welcoming ceremony of President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been held.

The guard of honor was arranged in honor of the distinguished guest in a square decorated with state flags of the two states.

The chief of the guard of honor delivered a report to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva welcomed President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic and his wife Dragica Nikolic.

The chief of the guard of honor delivered a report to the President of Serbia. National anthems of Serbia and Azerbaijan were played.

The heads of state reviewed the guard of honor.

The President of the Republic of Serbia saluted Azerbaijani soldiers.

Representatives of the state and government of Azerbaijan were introduced to President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic, while members of the Serbian delegation were introduced to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The guard of honor marched in front of the heads of state under the accompaniment of a military march.

The heads of state and their wives had their official picture taken.
