President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab in Davos.
The sides expressed their satisfaction with the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Economic Forum. It was noted that in recent years these relations had evolved and entered a new stage. It was emphasized that the forum has also had a positive impact on the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
It was noted that in accordance with the general agreement, the Davos World Economic Forum would be held in Baku in April this year, and this would be an important event.
Klaus Schwab expressed his hope that the World Economic Forum due in Baku would contribute to the development of cooperation and integration in the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
