President Ilham Aliyev has met with Mr. Cesare Mainardi, the Chief Executive Officer of the well-known US consulting company on global projects “Booz & Company”.
During the meeting, the Chief Executive Officer of “Booz & Company", Cesare Mainardi, praised the support provided by the Government of Azerbaijan for the development of information and communication technologies. He stressed the importance of the projects related to the broadband Internet strategy in Azerbaijan and the establishment of a high-tech park, and welcomed the start of work in this area.
Stressing that Azerbaijan was channeling part of the oil revenue into the development of high technologies, President Ilham Aliyev noted the importance of a further expansion of private sector involvement in the ICT sector.
