On October 31, the kindergarten-nursery named after Alim Mammadov was reopened in the Khatai district of Baku following extensive renovations.
Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, along with her family members, toured the newly renovated facility.
Liya Majidova, the principal of the kindergarten, briefed the First Vice-President and her family members on the progress made during the renovation.
Originally built in 1958, the kindergarten-nursery had fallen into disrepair over time, prompting the need for extensive repairs. Under the directives of Mehriban Aliyeva, the facility has been updated to meet modern standards.
The 100-seat kindergarten-nursery is now equipped with updated supplies and serves children across five groups.
The yard has been enhanced with vibrant landscaping and newly planted greenery, along with a dedicated playground area for children to enjoy.
