His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Dear Mr. President,

On behalf of the people of the Republic of Poland and myself, I am honored to extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and to all citizens of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 106th anniversary of the proclamation of independence and establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

Referring to the traditional friendly and partnership relations between Poland and Azerbaijan, as well as the historical legacy of our common heroes - General Maciej Sułkiewicz and Colonel Vali Bey Yadigar, I would like to assure you that Poland is always committed to further developing our relations, covering all domains of beneficial cooperation for our brotherly nations, both in the bilateral format, in the forums of international organizations, and within the European Union.

The Republic of Azerbaijan is a pivotal partner for us in the South Caucasus region. The Joint Declaration on the Road Map for Strategic Partnership and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Poland, signed during your visit to Warsaw in 2017, remains a defining document for the development of our relations. Poland is particularly interested in further evolving our economic cooperation to a level corresponding to the ever-increasing economic potential of our countries.
