Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See to Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See to Azerbaijan Marek Solczynski.

Marek Solczynski reviewed the guard of honor.

Marek Solczynski presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then the President of Azerbaijan had a discussion with the Apostolic Nuncio.

During the meeting the sides stressed the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Vatican, as well as the participation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the humanitarian projects and its importance for the further expansion of relations between the states. The sides expressed their confidence in the strengthening of relations in the future.
