President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Zardab.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center.
It was noted that the Heydar Aliyev Center located in the Heydar Aliyev Avenue and in the park named after the nationwide leader imparts special beauty to this area.
The President was informed that the construction of the Heydar Aliyev Center was started in 2010. The two-storey building was constructed in one of the most beautiful parts of the Heydar Aliyev Park on the basis of an interesting design. The total floor area of the building is 1,680 square meters. The center is of great importance in terms of perpetuating the memory of the great leader, as it contains materials, photographs, historical documents and artifacts reflecting different stages of life and multifaceted public activities of the nationwide leader, including the photos documenting his visits to Zardab. There are nine photo stands reflecting the activities of nationwide leader, his meetings in foreign countries and regions of Azerbaijan. In the lobby of the Heydar Aliyev Center there is a set of busts of the great leader.
During familiarization with the center, the President was informed that there is a computerized conference room and offices fitted with the latest equipment here. The Heydar Aliyev Center operates a modern language laboratory, a photo studio and classrooms.
There are special clubs for those interested in studying the rich history of Azerbaijan.
Extensive room has been allocated to foreign language publications about nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev. There will be carpet weaving, painting and chess clubs on the first floor. Taking advantage of the opportunities available, the guests of the centre can study the political legacy of great Heydar Aliyev. The local library contains books, magazines, newspapers and various publications about the national leader and the worthy successor of his political course, President Ilham Aliyev.
It was noted that the center also operates an auditorium for 150 people and a meeting room for events of national and district importance. Thanks to the modern equipment, it is possible to conduct international conferences at the center.
After reviewing the Heydar Aliyev Center, the President gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
