President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Samad Vurgun culture and recreation park in Yevlakh.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the park and reviewed the area.

It was noted that the total area of the park is more than 10,000 square meters. Over 7.000 square meters of the park is covered by a green area. In the center of the park there is a statue of people’s poet Samad Vurgun. President Ilham Aliyev laid a wreath at the statue of Samad Vurgun.

The park has four fountains and a children's entertainment area. Near the statue of Samad Vurgun a composition of the poet’s books has been constructed. The park has a modern lighting system, benches and all the conditions for recreation.

It was mentioned that the implementation of such projects, which serve the organization of cultural activities at a high level, leads to the discovery of new urban elements. It is also an indicator of the development process in recreation areas.

President Ilham Aliyev praised the work done at the park.
