President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the newly reconstructed polyclinic No 32 in Alat of Garadagh district of Baku.
Last year on April 4 during the review of the works implemented for the socio-economic development of Alat settlement President Ilham Aliyev gave instructions for the construction of a new polyclinic building in the settlement. According to the Order of the head of state dated April 6, 2011, one million manats were assigned for the construction of this polyclinic.
President Ilham Aliyev visited Alat and viewed the photo stand featuring the pre- and post-reconstruction state of the polyclinic building.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the polyclinics.
The head of Garadagh Executive Authority Suleiman Mikailov informed President of Azerbaijan that the one-storey building polyclinic, constructed in 1970s used to be inapplicable for use; in November last year the construction works for a new building. The new two-storey building constructed during a short term responds to modern standards, with all the relevant facilities for examination and treatment of patients.
Special photo corners were created at the entrance of the building reflecting the care and attention of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev were paying to the development of health care in our country.
The head of state reviewed the diagnostic ultrasound examination room. The room is facilitated with the most modern medical equipment for quick and accurate diagnosis. There is also a special section for children. This medical facility has all conditions for examination and treatment of children. The modern equipment installed in the biochemical and clinical laboratories will enable timely and qualitative diagnosis.

It was noted that there are rooms for different purposes in the policlinic. These rooms are also facilitated with medical equipment responding to the highest standards. The medical staff of the policlinics consisting of a hundred people will guard the health of the villagers. The creation of all conditions in the policlinic of Alat settlement is another example of the attention and concern of the state to the development of the health care system that will, first of all, make possible the fulfillment of a medical examination and treatment at the highest level.
President of Azerbaijan highly appreciated the conditions created in the clinic and gave instructions on the health services of high quality for the population.
