Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a new building of a secondary school in the Keshla settlement of Baku

A new building of secondary school No 328 has been commissioned in the Keshla settlement of the Nizami district of Baku.

President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva joined the ceremony.

Flowers were presented to Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the school.

There are photo stands in the lobby of the school reflecting the care and attention of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to the development of education in the country.

It was indicated that the construction of this educational institution began in October 2011. The total area of the four-storey building is 7,100 square meters. The school was built in line with high standards of quality and contemporary requirements. The building for 640 pupils has the necessary conditions for training, administration and management, extracurricular activities, sports and effective recreation. This year 200 new pupils have enrolled at the school. Education and training will be provided by a staff of 20 teachers. The school has 32 classrooms, subject-specific rooms and a library with a rich collection of books. In order to educate pupils in the field of information and communication technologies, a computer classroom has been established. The assembly hall for various activities and a canteen for 200 pupils are ready for use. In addition, the school where pupils have discussion rooms and innovative classrooms will pay special attention to the management of the learning process through interactive methods.

Physical education of pupils will also be in focus.

It was noted that the gym, equipped with modern facilities, has all the conditions for playing mini-football, basketball and other sports. The school also has a room for basic military training. The school has various laboratories to study biology, physics and chemistry using visual aids. There are workshops at the school to organize efficient recreation of pupils.

After reviewing the school, President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva wished the staff every success in the new academic year.
