President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have viewed landscaping, renovation and construction work progress at the Central Botanical Garden in Baku.
Head of the Baku City Executive Authority Eldar Azizov briefed the head of state and First Lady on the ongoing renovation and construction works at the Central Botanical Garden.
The total area of the Central Botanical Garden was expanded from 39 hectares to 44.8 hectares. Founded in 1934, the Garden houses some 130 types of rare plants.
After viewing the renovation progress, President Ilham Aliyev gave respective instructions and recommendations.
