President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed progress of construction of a trap shooting and archery center in the Bum settlement of Gabala District.
The President was informed that the complex covers an area of 25 hectares of mountainous terrain. It will have an office building, a warehouse, a store for arms and ammunition, 50-25-meter shooting ranges for 45 shooters and a 10-meter shooting range for 30 shooters, eight circular redoubts, seven platforms, a 25- and 50-meter archery site, a canteen for 120 people, a site for charging electric vehicles, stands for watching competitions, a flag square, a checkpoint and lounges. In addition, the area also will have drinking water and fire tanks, various engineering facilities and a transformer substation.
