Honorable President, Mr. Commander-in-Chief.

I, Mahammadali Akbarov, was born and grew up in the Kingdom of Spain. The development, successes and achievements of our Azerbaijan, which is prospering day by day, gives great joy and happiness to me too as one of the representatives of Panah Ali Khan's generation.

Under Your instructions, 2023 was designated the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in Azerbaijan. We, in our turn, also celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Great Leader with great respect and esteem.

May Allah rest Great Leader’s soul in peace!

The fact that this great anniversary was held in the city of Shusha, the land of our ancestors, made me emotional. The greatest dream of our National Leader Heydar Aliyev - the liberation of our Karabakh and Shusha became possible thanks to Your leadership and the bravery of our strong army.

Mr. President, the foundation of improvement and restoration works has been laid at your direction in Eastern Zangezur, as well as in Shusha, the cultural gem of Azerbaijan. In particular, it made me feel very happy because one of the streets in the city of Shusha was named after my ancestor Panah Ali Khan. On this occasion, I express my deep gratitude to You personally on behalf of myself and my family.

The attention and care You show to young people inspires me as an Azerbaijani youngster, as well as our young compatriots living in different countries of the world, and encourages us to unite as a fist around you for the sake of the development of our Azerbaijan.

I would like to note that during my participation in the third Summer Camp of Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth held in Shusha co-organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the State Committee for Work with Diaspora in 2022, made me live the best moments of my life and had a good impression on me.

As a member of the diaspora in the country where I live, I once again express my gratitude to You. I congratulate your family and all our people, including You, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of our Great Leader, and I convey my best wishes.
