President Ilham Aliyev has visited a new private house built for the resident of the Gozbarakh village in Zagatala District, Karabakh war veteran Mahir Soltanov. M. Soltanov’s previous house became unusable in the aftermath of the earthquake that hit Azerbaijan’s north-western region in early May of this year.
The President was informed that the total area of the house built by the Ministry of Emergency Situations is 241 square meter. The five-room two-storey house was built in a short time and with high quality. Equipped with necessary facilities, the new house can withstand an earthquake of 9 points magnitude. It has all the conditions for a comfortable life of a family of four.
The President was familiarized with the conditions of the house and praised the work done.
Home owner Mahir Soltanov thanked the head of state for the attention and care.
