An official welcoming ceremony of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held on 30 March.
The guard of honor was arranged in honor of the distinguished guest in a square decorated with state flags of the two states.
The chief of the guard of honor delivered a report to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva welcomed President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev and his wife Raisa Atambayeva.
The chief of the guard of honor delivered a report to the President of Kyrgyzstan. National anthems of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan were played.
The heads of state reviewed the guard of honor. The President of Kyrgyzstan saluted Azerbaijani soldiers.
Representatives of the state and government of Azerbaijan were introduced to President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev, while members of the Kyrgyz delegation were introduced to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The guard of honor marched in front of the heads of state under the accompaniment of a military march.
The heads of state and their wives had their official picture taken.
