Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of Zagatala tobacco processing plant

Within the framework of his visit to Zagatala, President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of “Intertabako” LLC tobacco processing plant.

President Ilham Aliyev toured the facility. The President was told that the annual processing capacity of the plant, built over two hectares of area, is 3300-3600 tons. The tobacco leaves are re-moistened, tattered, desiccated and cleaned, before being produced as a raw material with long preservation period. President Ilham Aliyev started the work of the facility.

The President viewed the newly produced tobacco types, congratulated the staff and wished them success.
