President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Anwar Gargash.
Minister Anwar Gargash extended greetings and best wishes of President of the United Arab Emirates His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the head of state. He noted that President of the United Arab Emirates His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has deep respect and reverence for President Ilham Aliyev.
Underlining that Azerbaijan moves along the path of rapid development under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the UAE minister said that all these were achieved thanks to the high-level leadership and tireless work of the head of state. Emphasizing that 120,000 UAE citizens visited Azerbaijan as tourists, Anwar Gargash pointed out that Azerbaijan has become one of the major tourist destinations for the citizens of the United Arab Emirates.
The head of state described Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates as friendly and partner countries. President Ilham Aliyev said that the leadership of the United Arab Emirates has a great vision for the development of the country, adding that the UAE has achieved exemplary development in terms of urban planning, infrastructure and other criteria.
The head of state thanked for President of the United Arab Emirates His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan`s greetings, and asked Anwar Gargash to extend his greetings to the UAE President.
