President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made a telephone call to President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul on October 23.
The President said the news of the tragedy that had taken place in fraternal Turkey had been received with a deep shock all over Azerbaijan and that the great number of casualties and wounded people had created a profound grief. He expressed his deepest condolences to the family members and close friends of the perished and to the people of Turkey.
President Abdullah Gul expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for his attention and condolences.
