Ilham Aliyev visited the Mammadaga Nazirov Culture and Recreation Park

After reviewing the Shabran Culture Center, President Ilham Aliyev visited the near-by Mammadaga Nazirov Culture and Recreation Park.

It was indicated that Mammadaga Nazirov was one of Azerbaijan’s heroic sons who made a historic contribution to victory over fascism in the Second World War. The people of Shabran still cherish the memories of brave guerilla member Mammadaga Nazirov who courageously fought the fascists in the war.

It was indicated that there are all the conditions in the park for the recreation of local residents. The park, covering a total area of 0.7 hectares, has green areas and fountains.

Then the President inspected the spring water complex under construction near the park. It was indicated that local residents are receiving the Shollar water from the complex, which is being built in a modern style. The construction of the complex represents a step aiming to resolve social problems of local residents.

President Ilham Aliyev also reviewed the photo stand called “Shabran in the early Middle Ages”. As other districts of the country, Shabran is known for ancient historical monuments. The district has many monuments dating back to the early Middle Ages. This is one of the key factors enhancing tourist interest in the district.

The head of state gave a high assessment to the work done and issued recommendations and instructions.
