Official welcoming ceremony of President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas was held

An official welcoming ceremony of President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, who has arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan on an official visit, has been held.

The guard of honor was arranged for the distinguished guest in the square where state flags of the two countries were hoisted.

The chief of the guard of honor reported to President Ilham Aliyev.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas.

National anthems of Palestine and Azerbaijan were played.

The heads of state inspected the guard of honor.

The President of the State of Palestine saluted Azerbaijani soldiers.

Azerbaijani state and government officials were introduced to President Mahmoud Abbas, while members of the Palestinian delegation were introduced to President Ilham Aliyev.

The guard of honor marched in front of the heads of state to a military tune.

The Presidents had an official photo taken.
