President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of Mingachevir City Museum of History.
The head of state was informed that the museum occupies an area of 810 square metres.
The museum features a photo section reflecting life and activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, and their role in the country`s development.
There are a 50-seat conference and two exhibition halls in the museum, whose collection includes 16,000 exhibits, of them 400 on display.

Prezident İlham Əliyev Mingəçevir Şəhər Tarix Muzeyinin açılışında iştirak edib.
Dövlətimizin başçısına məlumat verildi ki, Mingəçevir Şəhər Tarix Muzeyi 1968-ci ildə Mingəçevir Dövlət Dram Teatrının binasındakı bir otaqda fəaliyyətə başlayıb. 1985-ci ildən 2015-ci ilədək isə doqquzmərtəbəli yaşayış binasının birinci mərtəbəsində fəaliyyətini davam etdirib. Lakin sonradan Heydər Əliyev prospektində yerləşən əvvəlki Heydər Əliyev Muzeyinin binası yenidən quruldu və Mingəçevir Şəhər Tarix Muzeyi də həmin binaya köçürüldü. Yenidənqurma işlərindən sonra indi binanın ümumu sahəsi 810 kvadratmetr təşkil edir.
Muzeydə xalqımızın ümummilli lideri Heydər Əliyevin və Prezident İlham Əliyevin həyat və fəaliyyətindən, ölkəmizin inkişafı istiqamətindəki xidmətlərindən bəhs edən fotoguşə yaradılıb.
Bildirildi ki, üç fond otağından, 50 nəfərlik müşavirə və 2 ekspozisiya zallarından ibarət olan muzeydə 16 min eksponat qorunur və onlardan 400-ü ekspozisiya zallarında nümayiş etdirilir. Bu son dərəcə qiymətli eksponatlar ölkəmizin dünyanın qədim insan məskənlərindən olduğunu bir daha təsdiqləyir.
Muzeylə tanışlıqdan sonra xatirə şəkli çəkdirildi.
Guided by Clause 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:
To appoint Sahil Rafig oglu Babayev as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
