A farewell ceremony for outstanding representative of modern Azerbaijani literature, holder of the presidential stipend, People`s Poet Zalimkhan Yagub has been held at Tazapir Mosque.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the ceremony.
The ceremony started with the recitation of verses from the Quran.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to the family members of the poet.
State and government officials, members of the parliament, public and culture figures attended the ceremony.
