President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia, Branko Hrvatin.

The president talked about the successful development of relations between the two countries. Having recalled his visit to Croatia and the visit of former Croatian President Stjepan Mesić to Azerbaijan, the President noted the importance of high-level reciprocal visits for development of bilateral relations. President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan was keen on developing relations with Croatia in various fields. President Ilham Aliyev said he was positive that the visit of President of the Supreme Court of Croatia, Branko Hrvatin, to Azerbaijan would mark an important step for development of existing relations.

Having expressed content with his visit to our country, the guest stressed the significance of establishing ties between judiciary bodies, which is considered as one of the important branches of government. The President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia said he was confident that they would be successful in establishing and developing cooperation with their Azerbaijani counterparts.
