Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Foreign Affairs Minister of the State of Palestine

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Foreign Affairs Minister of the State of Palestine Riyad Al Maliki.

Foreign Minister Riyad Al Maliki conveyed greetings on behalf of President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas to the head of state. He said Azerbaijan`s support and humanitarian aid to Palestine were highly appreciated in his country. Riyad Al Maliki noted with pleasure that Palestine had always felt Azerbaijan`s support, including during the country`s presidency of the United Nations Security Council.

President Ilham Aliyev recalled a successful visit of President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas to Azerbaijan. Noting that there was good history of friendly relations between the two countries, the head of state expressed his confidence that cooperation and mutual support within international organizations would be continued.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings of Mahmoud Abbas and asked Riyad Al Maliki to communicate his greetings to the President of the State of Palestine.
