President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had a meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul. 

At the meeting, where the successful development of friendly relations between the two countries, based on strategic partnership, was highlighted, confidence was also expressed for further expansion of these ties.

Throughout the meeting, the sides exchanged views on prospects for development of relations in political, economic, and other fields.
