President Ilham Aliyev has met with Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic Antonis Samaras in Athens.
Prime Minister Antonis Samaras welcomed President Ilham Aliyev.
During the meeting, the sides expressed their satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations between the countries in various fields. The parties noted that there were good prospects for the expansion of cooperation in the economic sphere, as well as energy, transport, agricultural and other fields.
The parties stressed the importance of economic relations within the Azerbaijan-European Union cooperation.

After the meeting, an official dinner reception was hosted on behalf of Prime Minister of Greece Antonis Samaras in honor of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
