On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan I would like to congratulate you and your people on the national holiday – the Day of Portugal.

I do hope that the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Portugal will continue to develop and expand in the interests of our peoples.

On such a joyful day I wish you good health and continued success, and the friendly people of Portugal permanent well-being and prosperity.
