Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,

I was deeply saddened by the news of a heavy loss of life in an explosion in the Severnaya mine in Vorkuta.

On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to you, families, relatives of the dead and all the people of Russia, and wish those injured a swiftest possible recovery.
