President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of a building of the newly constructed chess school in Mingachevir.
The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening and toured the facility.
The President was informed that every condition had been created for training of 32 chess masters in four different classes simultaneously in the building. The classrooms have been provided with chessboards, timers and computers. Video cameras have been installed to monitor the education process. A special photo stand with photos of local chess masters who have achieved great results in international and national competitions reflect the achievements of the school. The administrative rooms and the contest hall of the school are also provided with necessary equipment and devices. In the contest room, with a general area of 300 square meters, 68 chess masters can vie at the same time.
Having toured the facility, President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the conditions created in the building.
Then, the President and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva had their photos taken with children.
