Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of anew building of Makhta village secondary school

President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the new building of a secondary school in Makhta village of Sharur region.

People gathered at the ceremony greeted the President warmly. 

President Ilham Aliyev cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening and toured the facility.

It was noted that the building of Makhta village secondary school, named after National Hero Ali Jamalov, has undergone capital reconstruction. The building, constructed in 1981, had fallen into desuetude a while ago. There are 30 classrooms in the new three-storey building, with a capacity of 540 pupils. In the new building, consisting of three corps connected with covered passages, all the conditions have been created for education and training of students, and the rooms have been provided with necessary equipments. The most up-to-date devices have been installed in science cabinets and labs. A special corner, featuring the life and activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev has been created in the library, where six thousand books are stored. The sports hall also conforms to the modern standards.

School’s two computer labs feature 19 computers each with free internet access. The classroom with two electronic boards will provide opportunities for conduct of lessons based on modern standards. Teaching of military training course by means of visual aids is also planned. 

The President highly appraised the conditions created and congratulated the faculty-student body.

Teachers expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for his attention and care.
