Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a new park complex in Baku

A new park complex above the underground car park between Fizuli and Mirzaga Aliyev streets of Baku has been opened.

The ceremony was joined by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, his wife Mehriban Aliyeva and their family members.

Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov informed the President that the new complex is the biggest park in the city. It was indicated that an area of 29,000 square meters of the park, which covers a total of 7 hectares, has been laid with granite slabs. An area of 6,000 square meters has been coated with asphalt. Trees have been planted on an area of 35,000 square meters.

It was noted that five modern fountains have been built in the park.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the work carried out in the park.
