President Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with area of the park and the musical fountain to be constructed in Nizami district of Baku.
Throughout recent years, a lot of work has been carried out with direct initiatives of President Ilham Aliyev to reconstruct parks and alleys in Baku and create leisure spots conforming to the world standards for the comfort of the residents and guests of the capital. Building of new parks and strips of greenery, modern public catering establishments, creation of infrastructure, conforming to the most up-to-date standards, in parks and alleys are among various actions taken to transform Baku to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The new park to be created in Nizami district of Baku, with the order of the President, marks the continuation of a chain of renovation and reconstruction works carried out in the capital.
Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov briefed the President visiting the construction site of the new park. The President was informed that construction of a 60m high musical fire fountain with a 10m pedestal is planned in the park. It was noted that the pedestal of the fountain would be built as a round hillock. The fountain will be built over 500 concrete bearing piles. The musical fire fountain will be built of crystal and 316 L brand non-corrosive metal, made in the US, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The US and German “Schott Class”, and British “Aspinallis” companies will partake in construction works. Works on crystal will be carried out by British “Wilkinson pls” company. Italian specialists will work on musical lighting. The musical fountain will be managed by an automated system fit under the pedestal.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev toured the site. The President was told that planting of the rarest trees and shrubs are planned in the area of the park. There will be three entrances to the park. Every condition will be created for comfortable rest of people around the complex.
Following the tour of the park, President Ilham Aliyev viewed the model of the musical fire fountain. Then, a film, featuring the park infrastructure and the strips of greenery, the musical fire fountain, and the high-level service to be provided to people, was presented.
After getting acquainted with the construction site of the park and the works to be done, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions for implementation of construction works with a high quality in and around the complex.
